Royal Mail action
The Communication Workers Union's Postal Executive agreed last month to escalate industrial action in its dispute with the Royal Mail over pay and cost cutting. This was set to involve postal workers taking two days strike action, but in a way that would result in two weeks continuous disruption to mail services, with separate functions being called out nationally on different days.
