Proper toilets
London bus workers are threatening to hold a strike ballot if Transport for London and London’s local authorities don’t speed up action to provide proper toilet facilities. They kicked their campaign off with protests outside key London Transport and local government offices on 23 August. Unite organiser Peter Kavanagh insisted that it was a disgrace that the workforce are denied basic facilities.
