TUC calls for help in campaign for more inspectors

The TUC wants to help the Health and Safety Commission in its bid for more resources to provide more health and safety inspectors. It is therefore looking for examples of situations where inspectors have actually improved health and safety in workplaces. Case studies of workplaces where safety reps can show the way an inspector's actions (such as issuing an improvement or prohibition notice or even the threat of a visit) have had a positive effect will be useful in winning public and parliamentary support for extra resources for the Health and Safety Executive.
