Part-time regulations published

Following a lengthy consultation the government has published the new regulations covering part-time workers. These will come into force on 1 July 2000 and will give part-time workers the right to be no less favourably treated than full-time workers. The regulations now make it clear that the protection covers all workers and not just employees working under contracts of employment.
