Solidarity case

The ITF international transport workers' federation is claiming a victory against US company Trico, after the company withdrew a application for an injunction. Trico was arguing that ITF support for a unionisation campaign among Trico workers in the USA amounted to a conspiracy to damage its interests by unlawful action. ITF general secretary David Cockroft said that the campaign "to ensure that Trico extends the same basic rights to its US employees as it does in other countries" will go on.
