Consultation on new code
The government has published a new consultation document for a code of practice on industrial action ballots. The code amends a current code to take account of recent changes to the law, in particular the new protection against unfair dismissal while taking industrial action. It also deals with the fact that trade unions can no longer be required to name those they are calling on to take action.
