Parliamentary cleaners consider strike
Cleaners working at the Houses of Parliament were balloted for strike action last month by the T&G general union. The workers are claiming a £6.70 per hour minimum rate - most currently earn around £5.00 an hour. They also want 20 days' paid leave, up from the current 12.
