Court unions merge
Members of AMO, the trade union for magistrates' court staff, have backed the proposed merger with PCS, the biggest civil service union, by 96.4%. The merger will take place in July 2005 and reflects the government's decision to combine the administration of Crown and County Courts with Magistrates' Courts.
