New FBU deputy
The Fire Brigades Union has elected the acting London regional secretary Andy Dark to the union's number two position. Dark beat the only other candidate, Geoff Ellis, by 6,921 votes to 4,361. Dark joins general secretary Matt Wrack, who was the previous London regional secretary, at the head of the union, following the retirement of Mike Fordham.
