Latest on lecturers' unions merger
The NATFHE and AUT lecturers' unions plan to ballot their members on merger in October or November this year. This follows the near unanimous approval of the plans by NATFHE's conference delegates at the end of May and a similar vote by the AUT the month before. If the members vote in favour, the merger would take place about a year later.
