Appeals
Case 6: The facts
The Employment Appeal Tribunal was asked to consider whether it should hear an application on appeal against a tribunal decision over whether there had been adequate consultation. It decided that only some grounds of the appeal could be heard.
The ruling
The Court of Appeal held that where there was an appeal on grounds all related to the same employment right, the EAT should agree to hear all of the grounds for appeal and not just some of them.
