Safety fears over new nuclear plan
Unions have warned that the rumoured sell-off of the British Nuclear Group will have serious safety mangement implications.
"This raises questions over whether the future of this safety-critical business is being determined by who is the highest bidder," said Mike Graham of Prospect technical union, while Gary Smith from the GMB general union added that the move could "add up to 'Railtrack in the nuclear industry'."
