Health and safety improvements at Sky

Media union BECTU has negotiated health and safety improvements at Sky, part of the News International media empire. Reps at Sky Osterley have helped to secure improvements in studio operations at the site. The Health and Safety Executive visited the workplace and produced a detailed report with recommendations for significant improvements. Issues highlighted include manual handling in workshops, stress, local exhaust ventilation and noise levels.
