LEAN working practices prompt PCS action
Members of the PCS civil service union at Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs are working to rule in their dispute over unhealthy working practices.
Over 85% voted in favour of an overtime ban and a work to rule in response to a new management technique called "LEAN", which has resulted in bullying and excessive workloads (see July's Workplace Report).
