Investor in people
The AEEU engineering and electrical union has been awarded Investors in People (IiP) accreditation. IiP is a national quality standard of good practice by organisations in improving performance through their people.
AEEU general secretary Sir Ken Jackson said: "By achieving this standard the union has set a benchmark which we hope will be followed by all organisations that employ AEEU members."
