New union rep on Health and Safety Commission

Liz Snape, head of policy at the public service union UNISON, has been appointed to the Health and Safety Commission for the next three years. Snape has been a safety rep and since 2001 a member of the TUC general council. TUC safety officer Tom Mellish said: "We wish Liz every success and look forward to working with her."
