Consultation on workplace transport

The Health and Safety Executive is developing a guidance tool, known as the "route map", to help manage the risks involved in the use of workplace transport - the second-biggest cause of fatal injuries in the workplace.

Unions are now being invited to comment on the "cross-cutting" tool, which aims to provide a "readily accessible framework of current legislation, guidance and agreed good practice" in an area covered by many different regulations. Responses must be received by 22 September.
