Nanotechnology review announced
The government has finally announced a review of nanotechnology, almost two years after unions first raised health and safety concerns on the subject.
Welcoming the proposed independent review by the Council for Science and Technology, TUC head of safety Hugh Robertson said: "While the TUC welcomes Britain's emergence as a leader in this field, the advances must not be at the expense of the health of workers, consumers or the environment."
