HSC funding increase
The Health and Safety Commission (HSC) is to get an extra pst45 million to carry forward the government's strategy to cut deaths, injuries and illness caused by work by up to 30% over the next 10 years. It will also assist the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to meet its new commitments following the recent transfer of railway safety case assessments from Railtrack.
