OECD says recession past the worst
Statistics from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) indicate that economies reached a “trough” in April and may have begun to rise again. The OECD’s index rose 0.5 percentage points in April, the second monthly rise, after falling for 21 successive months previously. The OECD said it was “too early to tell whether it is a temporary or a more durable turning point.”
