Good practice will travel fast at conference

“Speed dating” is to be a feature of next month’s TUC organising conference, which will focus on the exchange of good organising practice between unions.

Building Stronger Unions 2, to be held in Swansea on 13 February, is the TUC’s main organising conference of the year. There will be workshops on organising skills, and a “market stall” system will enable delegates to spend a short time speaking to reps from other unions about organising practices.

Stewart Acuff, the American AFL-CIO union federation’s director of organising, will be the keynote speaker.
