TUC survey on job cuts and redundancies

The economy is technically out of recession but the jobs cull is continuing. The public sector is starting to be hit with job cut announcements and it can only get worse in this sector as the government attacks on public spending kick in.

The TUC is urgently seeking information and case studies on proposed and actual redundancies in the workplace.

It has asked the Labour Research Department to collate the information from respondents who can fill in a questionnaire by following the link below or cutting and pasting it into the address line of an internet connection. More details are provided once the link is followed.

The information will be used by the TUC to share good practice between trade unions on dealing with redundancies.
