New Acas guide on disciplinaries is out

Arbitration and conciliation service Acas has produced a draft 74-page guide, Discipline and grievances at work: the Acas guide, to go with its proposed new Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.

The guide provides more detailed advice and guidance that will help employers and employees both in general terms and in individual cases.

It has been approved by the Acas Council and is due to come into effect, with the Code, on 6 April 2009.
