Asbestos campaign
“You are more at risk than you think!” That’s the message being sent out this month to plumbers, electricians, carpenters, joiners and other building maintenance and repair workers as part of an HSE campaign to raise awareness of the dangers from asbestos.
Pointing out that six electricians and three plumbers die from asbestos-related diseases every week, the HSE has produced a free information pack and other resources to help spread the message. For details, visit www.hse.gov.uk/asbestos/campaign/index.htm
