Warning sounded on ‘well note’ proposals
Plans to abolish the sick note in favour of the “well note” could force sick and injured people back to work before they are fit to return said Tom Jones, head of policy at union solicitors Thompsons.
Jones warned that proposals linking “well notes” with access to the Employment and Support Allowance benefit were “fundamentally wrong” (see also page 29).
