Roving reps work
Sweden's system of regional roving safety reps has been effective in bringing about workplace improvements, according to a survey by the LO trade union centre.
Asked about their work and experiences, 730 regional safety delegates revealed that they are often the only people with whom employers discuss working environment matters, especially in small businesses. In fact, 85% of employers said they appreciate the delegates' work.
