Staged deal in Dutch childcare
The FNV and CNV unions have agreed a complex 18-month staged deal for workers in childcare. This runs from 1 January 2023 and provides for a 2% plus €150 a month increase in pay from April 2023 plus a €525 lump-sum payment in July. In January 2024, there will be a further 2% increase and another 2% increase in April 2024. This increase is lower than inflation, currently 7.6% (January).
