UNISON political fund
Members of public services union UNISON in England, Scotland and Wales have voted overwhelmingly to retain the union’s political fund, which enables the union to take part in political activity.
Of the 187,598 members who participated, 96.7% voted to keep the political fund. Members can contribute to either of two political fund sections, only one of which is based on affiliation to the Labour Party.
