Mental health reasonable adjustments
Acas has issued new guidance on reasonable adjustments for mental health at work. This is aimed at both employers and workers.
The guidance covers: • what reasonable adjustments for mental health are;
• examples of mental health reasonable adjustments;
• requesting reasonable adjustments for mental health;
• managing employees with reasonable adjustments for mental health; and
• reviewing policies with mental health in mind.
The focus is on helping to support employers and employees, including practical steps and considerations they should be aware of. It contains case studies and templates.
Acas is keen for the resource to be shared widely.
