Covid and union meetings


The doctors grouping in the Unite general union and the UK Hazards Campaign have produced guidance for unions when holding indoor events, Reducing risk of Covid-19 and infectious diseases at trade union meetings and conferences.


Doctors in Unite said: “It is important to recognise that Covid-19 has not gone away and can still be a major health risk to many people. We know from all the evidence that indoor events without good ventilation, and which have overcrowding without any risk controls, can be vectors of transmission.”
