Union highlights safety concerns in report
A new report on health care and adult social care shows staff are “overworked, exhausted and stressed”, said the BMA doctors’ union.
Highlighting a new CQC health and social care regulator report, The state of health care and adult social care in England 2022/23, BMA representative body chair Dr Latifa Patel said it “shows exactly what happens when these services – and crucially the staff that work in them – are unsupported and undervalued: patients and people who are supposed to be looked after do not get the safe quality care they need.”
