Renault signs global remote working deal

French based motor manufacturer Renault has signed an agreement on remote working with global union federation IndustriALL. The document, which supplements an existing 2019 agreement, provides a framework within which local negotiators can agree how remote working should be introduced.

It states that: participation in remote working must be voluntary and reversible, privacy must be protected; health and safety assured; existing agreements respected; a right to disconnect established; and contact between remote workers and unions must be guaranteed.
