Shadow skills minister
Labour leader Keir Starmer’s recent reshuffle has seen Seema Malhotra appointed as shadow minister for skills, replacing Toby Perkins, who had held the position since April 2020. Malhotra joins the shadow education team under the shadow secretary of state for education, Bridget Phillipson.
“I can’t wait to get to work with the shadow education team to deliver on our mission to break down the barriers to opportunity at every stage,” Malhotra announced.
