Unite establishes activists "hub committee" at freeport
General union Unite has established a cross-sector “hub committee” of its activists at the Teesside freeport in an effort to prevent a “race to the bottom” in pay and conditions. It consists of shop stewards and reps from local companies, where it is often the recognised union.
