TUC promises autumn of action

The TUC is inviting trade unionists to join a lobby of Parliament and a rally in London on Wednesday 2 November as part of its We Demand Better autumn action campaign.

The campaign calls for a new deal for working people, with a real pay rise for every worker, starting with a £15 minimum wage, more help with bills and a ban on zero hours contracts and fire and rehire.

The lobby of MPs will take place between 2pm and 5pm, while the rally will be held from 6 to 8pm at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster.
