Luton airport workers win 19%
Around 200 staff at GH London Ground Handling Luton airport have called off planned strike action after potentially winning three permanent pay increases worth 19% before June 2023, as well as a £500 retention bonus. The new deal includes: a 10% salary increase applicable from 1 July 2022 to 31 December 2022; a further 9% increase from 1 January 2023; an additional increase in June 2023 if the RPI inflation rate is higher than 9% in May 2023; and a £500 bonus.
