Yorks courses push sustainability

The TUC is offering union reps in Yorkshire two new courses to help them make their workplaces more sustainable and encourage their colleagues to be greener at work.

The Environment Matters course is an introduction to organising in the workplace using environmental issues, safety law and information effectively. It aims to help reps build health and safety organisation and effect real change in the workplace.

Green Shoots looks at the potential environmental impacts on the workplace and what union reps can do to promote green policies where they work, enhancing the sustainability of their workplace.

Both courses will run in the classroom or online using Teams for three Fridays.
