Unite election
General union Unite will not have to re-run its general secretary election of 2013, which saw Len McCluskey re-elected to the post until 2018.
Official union watchdog the Certification Officer rejected claims by losing candidate Jerry Hicks that the election was invalid because 156,000 ballot papers were sent to members no longer paying subscriptions.
