New limits from April
The limit for a week’s pay when calculating compensation for basic unfair dismissal will increase to £475 from 6 April it has been announced. The maximum compensation amount, which is rarely awarded, will increase to £78,335.
The limit for a week’s pay when calculating redundancy pay will increase to £475 from the same date.
