Pay settlements

The latest analysis from Labour Research Department’s Payline database of collective agreements showed a median (midpoint) rise of 2.3% in the three months to December 2013. The figure was up from 2.0% for November.

The median rise for manual workers was 2.3%, while for non-manual staff it was 2.5%.

Other pay analysts had lower rises. For XpertHr the median was 2.0% in the three months to December, Their median pay figure has been stuck at this level for each rolling quarter since April 2013.

The median figure from Incomes Data Services in the three months to November was 2.0%.
