Resources on hearing loss


Charity Action on Hearing Loss has launched a range of resources including videos and quizzes to highlight what employers can do to make the workplace more inclusive for people with deafness and hearing loss.


There are five million working-age people with deafness or hearing loss in the UK equivalent to 12 out of every 100 employees.


Further research has shown that 54% of people with hearing loss put off telling their employer about their hearing loss for fear of being judged.
