New leader takes over at STUC
Rozanne Foyer will become the Scottish TUC’s new general secretary when incumbent Grahame Smith retires later this year.
Foyer, who began as a workplace activist in the Benefits Agency and went on to become a national officer in the then TGWU union, will be the first woman to hold the position in the STUC’s 123-year history (see also page 13).
