2010 Equality Act 


An inquiry has been launched by the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee into the enforcement of the Equality Act 2010 (EA). 


The committee is seeking to establish what more can be done to achieve widespread compliance with the EA and has called for written evidence to be submitted by 5 October 2018. 


The committee has specified various issues on which it needs written evidence, including how effective current remedies for discrimination are in achieving change and the effectiveness of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
