Sport Community


The Community trade union has launched a membership organisation called Sport Community aimed at sports professionals and ex-professionals and others in and around sport. 


It will offer them a specialised package of benefits and support for issues disproportionately affecting them, such as osteoarthritis and image rights among ex-professional footballers.


The move is a collaboration between the union and the Xpro Life After Sport charity, and partners include the League Managers Association, BMI Healthcare and fund-raising platform FundStar.
