REACH out for guidance and leaflets

The HSE has published a new web page with 20 bite-sized leaflets produced by the REACH UK Competent Authority (UKCA) and other UK government departments. Examples of guidance covered include, the basics of REACH, the REACH timeline, exemptions and restrictions.

There are also leaflets on how REACH applies to different industries and sectors.

The European Union regulations on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) were introduced in June 2007.
