Psychosocial risks

A new European report highlights the importance of worker involvement and management commitment in managing psychosocial risks, which include stress, bullying, harassment and violence. The report sets out the findings of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) Second European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks, which looked specifically at psychosocial risks.

The report makes clear that workers are increasingly facing these risks and examined barriers to and drivers of workplace psychosocial risk management. It found management commitment and worker involvement are likely to be the most effective organisational drivers of managing psychosocial risks, regardless of the national context.
