New HSE chief executive
Sarah Albon has been appointed the new chief executive of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
She will take up the role on 1 September, replacing the acting chief executive David Snowball who retires at the end of the year.
Albon is the current Inspector general and chief executive of the Insolvency Service. She appears to have no health and safety background.
