Mapping the way forward on fines


The TUC has pointed to the new one-stop, interactive online map of safety fines published by the US safety regulator OSHA as the way forward for a better UK health and safety enforcement database. 


TUC head of health and safety Hugh Robertson says that while the HSE is searchable by geographical area and industry and a “fantastic resource”, there are in effect four different databases, which means it can be time consuming when researching information about a particular company.
