Union launches workers' guide to Covid

The Unite general union has launched a guide to keeping construction workers safe during the pandemic which, it says, can be used by all workers.

The release comes as the union warns of rising cases of Covid on construction sites, possibly due to the recent bad weather and consequent lack of social distancing. As well as issues such as social distancing on worksites, the importance of ventilation and advice on face coverings, it covers guidance on travelling to and from work, and information on how the pandemic can affect mental health.
