: Deliveroo case 


FNV, the largest union group in the Netherlands, has been supported by an opinion of the Dutch advocate general in its long-running case to prove that Deliveroo’s food delivery workers should be treated as employees and are not self-employed.


The FNV has already won the case in the district court and the court of appeal. But Deliveroo has appealed to the Dutch supreme court.


The case is set to be heard in late December. In the meantime, the Dutch advocate general has advised the supreme court that the workers are employees.
